Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse

This position is for a night shift, working a 12-hour schedule with a 3-day workweek.

Job Description

The Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse will provide critical care and support to patients in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the step-down unit. This role requires a strong background in neuro nursing, with responsibilities that include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in the Neuro ICU and step-down units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro nursing.
• Current RN license verified through Nursys.
• Certification in relevant specialty areas preferred.
• Clear work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Positive references from previous employers.
