Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This position requires a night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Labor & Delivery unit, attending to patients experiencing labor and preterm labor. The nurse will be responsible for administering treatments, overseeing patient safety, and supporting optimal patient outcomes by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes in the OB-GYN setting.
• Circulate and scrub during deliveries and GYN surgeries.
• Administer blood/blood products and manage epidural anesthesia.
• Monitor patient health and provide necessary interventions.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Active compact RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred.
