Job Description

Join our specialized healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Level 2 ICU, providing care in a 225-bed specialty care hospital that includes a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, and various other departments. This position focuses on critical care in the intensive care unit with opportunities to work in open-heart surgery, neuro surgery, and trauma care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with procedures related to critical care.
• Support and advocate for patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties as required based on census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU experience required.
• Current RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in CVICU or Neuro ICU preferred.
• Willingness to float to different areas as needed.
