Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics/NICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with a holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a level 4 NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients in the pediatric and NICU settings.
• Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory conditions and responses to treatments.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), with focused experience in pediatrics and NICU.
• Active RRT certification and South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required at the time of start.
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
