Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Oncology (Nights)

Schedule

Night shift (3x12-Hour) from 18:45 to 07:15.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical Surgical/Oncology unit. The RN will provide care to primarily medical-surgical patients with oncology histories. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, managing care for patients with colostomies, accessing ports, and blood product administration. The RN will work within a team, and expected to float to similar units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical patients with oncology diagnoses.
• Administer chemotherapy and other biotherapy treatments (IV, PO, or injection).
• Manage patient care duties including colostomy care, central line management, and wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to similar units as required based on staffing needs.
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and maintain compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical setting.
• Oncology Certification (ONS/ONCC) is required.
• Must possess current license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with tumor management, chemotherapy administration, and central line care.
