X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are either 07:00 - 17:30 or 14:00 - 00:30, operating on a 4x10 hour schedule based on the facility's needs.

Job Description

The X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Candidates must be certified and have experience using the Cerner charting system. The position requires a strong background in radiology and the ability to adapt to different clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures on patients, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and trauma cases.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data using the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Assist in implementing infection prevention protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Valid PA license or compact license is required at the time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
