Respiratory Therapist Position

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with night shifts and some weekends required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic care to patients requiring respiratory assistance. The role involves performing procedures such as bronchoscopy, metabolic cart testing, and managing various ventilatory support systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Drager vents, Phillips V60, CPAPs, Arivo2, and Hiflo equipment.
• Conduct pulmonary function testing including CPET and DLCO.
• Perform advanced respiratory procedures such as cryotherapy, cautery, fluoroscopy, stent placement, and fiducial placement.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in managing vents, CPAPs, and Hiflo devices.
• Advanced skills in diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures.
• Current and valid respiratory therapy licensure.
