Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technician will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine studies, including cardiac studies and general nuclear medicine testing. This role involves working at both an outpatient office and the main campus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine studies and cardiac studies.
• IV insertion and safe handling/storage of radioactive materials.
• Maintain American College of Radiography NM Accreditation.
• Maintain State of Maine Radioactive Materials license.
• Ensure detailed documentation of procedures and results.
• Communicate effectively with Cardiologists and Radiologists to ensure high-quality exams.
• Provide exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of nuclear medicine experience (preferred).
• BLS Certification.
• CNMT licensure.
