Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will float to step-down units as necessary and is expected to manage a patient ratio of 2:1 in critical care and 3-4:1 in step-down settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in critical care settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN licensure in the state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
