Invasive Cardiology RN - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift - 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM, with weekends as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Invasive Cardiology RN to join our team. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment that includes 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and various advanced cardiovascular treatments. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing complex cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and monitoring patients throughout procedures.
• Assisting with central line insertion, cardiac stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and following infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Preparing patients for procedures and educating them on post-procedure care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an invasive cardiology or similar setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Ability to meet call requirements, which are expected to be minimal.
