Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 07:45 AM to 05:15 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide care for adult patients in a clinical oncology setting, administering chemotherapy and other treatments as necessary. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, ensuring safety protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage central line and implanted line care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Oncology-specific experience.
• Current RN license (NC or compact) required by start date.
• BCLS Certification.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card is a must.
• OCN certification preferred.
