CT Scan Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including holiday rotation and on-call rotation with staff.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will be responsible for operating CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained in compliance with all safety protocols. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, attending to both outpatient and emergency department cases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct CT scans on patients, following specific protocols.
• Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures, including proper use of radiation safety equipment.
• Administer contrast media as needed according to established guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Document patient history and relevant information in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months experience in a Level 1 trauma center required.
• Must have certifications: BLS, ARRT (Radiologic Technology), and SCRQSA (Radiologic Technology).
• Siemens equipment experience is highly desired.
• Valid South Carolina state license is required; pending licenses are not accepted.
