Schedule

Shifts are scheduled from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. This role requires proficiency in mammography and bone density procedures, working primarily in an outpatient setting. You will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients while operating state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography screenings and bone density tests.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide excellent patient care and support throughout the imaging process.
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records using MRS, Meditech, and GE PACS systems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient experience and care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography.
• Current ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT-M).
• South Carolina Radiologic Technologist certification (SCRQSA).
• BLS-CPR certification required.
