Registered Nurse - Operating Room (ENT/Pediatric/Plastic Surgery)

Schedule

Shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with options for 4x10 or 4x12 hour days. Occasional weekends and overnight trauma call expected.

Job Description

An experienced Registered Nurse is needed for a busy ENT, Pediatric, and Plastic Surgery team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in level 1 trauma, head and neck procedures, airway management, general pediatric surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS), and facial trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex procedures including robotic ENT, cochlear implants, free flaps, DIEP flaps, facial and hand trauma, pediatric general cases, and thoracic surgery.
• Precept and mentor new tech students, providing guidance and support on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and procedural demands throughout the day.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience in general surgery, GU/GYN, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic joints, neurosurgery, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular is preferred.
