CVICU RN - Night Shift

3x12-hour shifts, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with Holiday and Weekend rotation required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac and Neuro Intensive Care Unit. This role involves managing critical patients post-surgery or with severe cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the condition of patients in the CVICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Float to similar units based on facility needs, as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Cardiac and Neuro experience is required.
