Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Rehabilitation department will provide comprehensive care for adult patients recovering from various medical conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment that addresses physical, emotional, and psychological components. The nurse will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the functional ability and quality of life for patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with therapists and physicians for comprehensive patient evaluation and treatment.
• Educate patients and families about health management and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records.
• Provide support and guidance during daily living activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or medical/surgical setting.
• CRRN certification is preferred.
