Registered Nurse - Oncology

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive care as well as other treatment modalities. Nurses will work closely with oncology providers and utilize an acuity scale to guide staffing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments effectively and safely.
• Monitor patient progress and manage supportive care needs.
• Collaborate with oncology providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize an acuity scale for effective staffing and patient management.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide education on treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ONS/ANCC Certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
