Med/Surg Tele RN - Night Shift

Night shifts, 3 - 12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide nursing care in a telemetry unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document all care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must have a permanent Ohio RN license or a compact state RN license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
