X-Ray Technician - Travel Position

This is a noc shift position from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. The role includes maintaining all equipment for procedures, assessing safety, and ensuring the physical and physiological comfort of patients. Additionally, the technician will monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform and provide imaging and treatment processes as per guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Assess and assure patient comfort during procedures
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures and monitor for revisions
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Must be comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR)
• Knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care
• Current NJ State RT License and ARRT certification required
• BLS certification
