This is a contract position from June 22 to July 10, 2023.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No holidays or weekends.

Job Description

The Pathologists' Assistant will be responsible for assisting pathologists by providing support in various laboratory procedures. The role includes managing specimens, preparing them for examination, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and examination of pathological specimens.
• Manage and label samples accurately to ensure traceability.
• Support pathologists in diagnostic processes and procedures.
• Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations as outlined by the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ASCP Pathologists' Assistant certification is required.
• Relevant experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Completion of necessary health screening and immunizations is mandatory prior to onboarding.
