Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate assigned patients, developing and modifying treatment plans to meet their needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional programs for effective patient return to community activities. You will be responsible for educating patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals aimed at patient progress.
• Complete timely and accurate medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to students as part of the assigned program.
• Create and pursue a personalized professional development plan, engaging in continuing education.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain licensure.
• Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
