Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), including every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a busy emergency room setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work flexibly within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
• Triage patients effectively to ensure prompt care based on severity of conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room or similar fast-paced medical setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or a Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Epic experience is mandatory; community hospital experience is preferred.
