Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the MICU
• Perform critical procedures such as central line placements, intubations, and dialysis catheter placements
• Monitor and manage patient acuity using ICU-specific equipment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• CCRN certification preferred
