Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, and orthopedic injuries. This position requires a calm and friendly personality to ensure a positive rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the rehabilitation protocols
• Monitor and report patient progress and changes to the supervising RN or physician
• Assist with the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed
• Support patients in their daily activities and rehabilitation exercises
• Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EHR

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• LPN licensure and current BLS certification
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
• Knowledge of common rehabilitation diagnoses and treatments, including CVA, multi-trauma, and fractures
