Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role is essential for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, requiring proficiency in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations.
• Utilize telemetry knowledge to manage and address dysrhythmias.
• Achieve a minimum score of 80% on telemetry assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Proficient in Allscripts or similar charting systems preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Ability to accurately interpret dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation.
