Schedule

5x8 Days (Monday-Friday) from 07:30 to 16:00. Shifts may vary, and work until the last patient is seen. Start times are typically between 07:15 and 07:45. No holidays or weekends.

Job Description

The Outpatient Infusion/Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for oncology patients requiring chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as well as hematology patients and non-oncology infusions in a busy outpatient infusion setting. The role requires competency in administering specialties such as rheumatology, GI, neurology, and pulmonology infusions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy per established protocols.
• Manage and monitor patients receiving outpatient infusions.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform necessary nursing procedures and interventions, including accessing ports and managing central lines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC) required.
• BLS certification required; OCN preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient oncology setting is preferred; inpatient oncology experience may be considered.
• Experience with IM subcutaneous injections and therapeutic phlebotomy is necessary.
