Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a high-acuity emergency setting and possess the necessary certifications to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessments and prioritize care based on ESI guidelines.
• Administer IVs, medications, and care for patients with trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and behavioral health issues.
• Coordinate transport for higher levels of care and manage patient documentation using Meditech.
• Assist with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response.
• Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
• Maintain adherence to isolation and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
