Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This position requires the technologist to utilize advanced imaging technology to execute studies of soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the use of contrast media.

Responsibilities

• Change imaging parameters for a variety of studies.
• Provide imaging services in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all procedures comply with departmental protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be licensed in the state of Wyoming.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Must have Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.
• Maintain a State License as a general radiographer.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required, including prior travel experience.
• No local candidates will be accepted for this position.
