This position is for a Night shift, following a 12x3 schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide care for an adult and older adult population, including trauma patients and those on Heparin drips and other acute medications as needed. The nurse will handle a patient ratio of 1:5 and must be proficient in using EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assess and document patient conditions in the EMR system.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Documented Med/Tele experience and completed checklist.
• Experience with skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus.
• Prior NICHE training is advantageous.
