Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work in a critical care environment, handling a variety of complex cases. Applicants must have recent critical care experience and be RRT credentialed with a valid Washington state license. Experience in pediatric care is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adults in trauma, neuro, burn, and medical ICU settings.
• Manage ventilators and airway devices, including tracheostomy care and high-flow oxygen therapy.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation assist, arterial blood gas drawing, and ECMO support.
• Monitor patient status and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care in high-acuity environments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care settings, specifically with adult trauma and burns.
• Current BLS and RRT certification required; WA state license is necessary.
• Experience with patient populations including BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU.
• Ability to work all scheduled shifts, with weekend coverage required.
