Registered Nurse - Night Shift 3x12

This is a night shift position consisting of 3x12 hour shifts, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will float between a 12-bed ICU and a 31-bed Med-Surg unit as needed, providing comprehensive nursing care for patients aged 18 years and older with a variety of diagnoses, including vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and PEG management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in the ICU and Med-Surg units.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and monitor patient status.
• Engage in vent weaning and wound care management.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of South Carolina.
• Experience in charge roles, long-term acute care (LTAC), and trauma settings is preferred.
• Must be comfortable floating as required.
