Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality patient care using the Nursing Process, adhering to the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide direction and supervision to personnel involved in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in clinical decision-making.
• Provide leadership in the anticipation and planning of patient care delivery.
• Supervise and direct nursing personnel involved in patient care.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain clinical competencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to five years of registered nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (must be from the American Heart Association).
• Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care.
• Knowledge of central lines and preferred wound care experience.
• Ohio or multi-state compact RN license is required.
