Wound Care RN (BSN) - Day Shift

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00). No weekend work required.

Job Description

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (BSN) will be responsible for providing expert wound care to adult and pediatric patients, including those with complex needs. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and overall health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Utilize advanced wound care technologies and treatments.
• Educate patients and families on wound management and care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of Wound Care RN experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• WOCN certification is required (continence certification is not necessary).
• Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• Must have an active RN license in South Carolina or be in the process of acquiring one.
