This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7 days on, 7 days off, with shifts scheduled as:

• Day 3x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)
• Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Acute Care Physical Therapist with a Washington State license (WA LIC) to provide patient care in a short-term acute care facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in acute care settings, and experience in inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) would be a benefit. You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 10-12 patients per day and floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and assist with rehabilitation efforts.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and rehabilitation strategies.
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Washington State or Compact RN License.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with chronic conditions including COPD, CHF, CVA, and orthopedic issues.
• Current BLS certification.
