Labor and Delivery RN - Night Shift

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and compassion for patients during one of the most crucial times in their lives. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in a labor and delivery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and newborns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the labor process.
• Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
• Respond to emergency situations with effective problem-solving and critical thinking.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications may be required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
