Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 1900 to 0730, with rotating weekends. One 12-hour on-call shift is required per pay period.

Job Description

The LDRP team provides comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, including postpartum and newborn care in a family-centered and medically-safe environment. This role requires working collaboratively with a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff. All sites are also trained in GYN surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
• Assist in triage, labor, delivery, and nursery operations.
• Offer stabilization and care for high-risk neonates as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license is required.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Basic fetal monitoring skills are required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care is essential.
• Previous experience in stabilization of high-risk neonates is preferred.
