Registered Nurse - Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including required weekend shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in our Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown units. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, time management abilities, and critical thinking capabilities. This role involves managing patient ratios of 6:1 in Acute Care and 4:1 in Neuro Stepdown, with an emphasis on bedside shift reporting and building personal connections with patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown units.
• Perform common procedures such as lumbar punctures and chest tube placements.
• Assist in the management and monitoring of patients using advanced equipment.
• Participate in daily huddles to improve patient experience and care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in Acute Care nursing; Neuro Stepdown experience is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
