Shift: Days 7a-7p, Every 3rd Weekend, On-Call (must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care. The RN will be responsible for planning, providing, and directing patient care while utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
• Establish collaborative care plans based on assessments and communicate with involved disciplines.
• Implement and evaluate care plans based on identified patient goals.
• Complete all documentation according to established standards.
• Assess patients' readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.
• Participate in nursing department initiatives and orientation of new personnel.
• Provide age-appropriate care for specific populations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in OB, Postpartum, and/or L&D.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
• BLS Certification (Required).
• NRP Certification (Required).
• STABLE Certification (Required).
