Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend is required, with a block schedule implemented.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care, assist in patient assessments, and support the management of respiratory conditions. This role may require floating to a sister facility, 30 minutes away, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
• Perform a range of procedures including arterial punctures and intubation assistance.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification.
• Washington state respiratory therapy license in hand.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in adult critical care, with a patient ratio of 1:3.
