Travel Pathology Assistant

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Travel Pathology Assistant with extensive experience in grossing all specimen types and sizes, including large specimens. The ideal candidate must be able to work across multiple campuses as required.

Responsibilities

• Grossing all types and sizes of specimens, including complex cases.
• Collaboration with pathologists and laboratory personnel.
• Maintaining an organized workflow and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pathology grossing.
• Current PA (ASCP) certification.
• Valid Florida state license.
• Experience with complex oncology cases, including breast and colon specimens.
