Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide specialized care for critically ill neonates. This position requires proficiency in advanced respiratory care technologies and the ability to independently manage vented patients in a pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage vented patients using Servo U ventilators.
• Set up and oversee heliox therapy through both invasive and non-invasive methods.
• Administer non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP.
• Utilize Bubble CPAP and nitric oxide in neonatal care.
• Operate high-frequency ventilation and other specialized respiratory support equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of Neonatal ICU or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) critical care experience.
• Current PALS certification.
