Interventional Radiology Technician

This position requires a 4x10 hour shift from 06:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technician will provide support for endovascular and stroke cases, ensuring quality patient care through a variety of interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endovascular and stroke procedures, including catheter placements and angiographies.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment, including 3D imaging systems and fluoroscopy.
• Prepare and manage equipment and patient materials for interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and address any immediate patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or related field.
• Certifications required: ACLS, ARRT Radiography, and BLS.
• Preferred: ARRT Vascular Interventional or CCI RCIS certification.
