LPN/LVN - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional rotating Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM are required.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will work in a fast-paced environment, capable of performing various nursing competencies. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and performing injections.
• Conducting EKGs and nasopharyngeal swabs.
• Monitoring patient vital signs including blood pressure and ear flushes.
• Providing care and support to pediatric patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN/LVN.
• Current NY State LPN/LVN license required.
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
• Ambulatory and pediatric experience preferred.
