This role requires a 4x10-hour shift from 07:30 - 18:00, with weekend and on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular procedures and will be prepared to handle a daily caseload of 20-30 cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, stent placements, and biopsies.
• Ensure the use of appropriate imaging techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a sterile environment and implement infection control measures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the medical team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, with a focus on vascular procedures.
• Current BLS certification and ARRT certification in Radiography and Vascular Interventional.
• Valid Florida state license.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.
