Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift

Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The LPN will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a 37-bed unit with a focus on pulmonary, cardiac, and GI patient diagnoses. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and may require floating to other departments such as ICU, ED, and OB, depending on unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient health and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist in patient care planning and documentation using Meditech charting.
• Support a collaborative environment among healthcare providers.
• Provide assistance in various departments as required based on census levels.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Valid LPN licensure in the state of New York.
