Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process. The telemetry RN is expected to incorporate specific educational requirements and competency related to care for the cardiac patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry care for patients on the unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac monitors and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to devise patient care plans.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Telemetry/Stepdown nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
