Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the medical team. Your role includes operating complex medical equipment and ensuring patient safety during treatment sessions.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients accurately based on prescribed treatment plans.
• Monitor patient reactions and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient care and treatment protocols.
• Maintain and operate radiation equipment while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
• Assist in patient education regarding procedures and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred in a progressive radiation oncology department.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
