Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

• Daylight shifts, rotating weekly: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, and 7:30 AM - finish
• On-call weekend shifts only: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (2 weekends required in a 6-week schedule)
• The 7:30 AM shift must stay to complete elective cases and any add-ons, which may require working past the scheduled shift (1-2 hours or more, though this is not common)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our small orthopedic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with surgical procedures and patient care in the operating room. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our orthopedic surgery program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic operating room.
• Collaborate with a small team to ensure high-quality surgical outcomes.
• Assist in elective cases and respond to add-ons as necessary.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and relevant certifications.
• Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
