Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Pre-Screen Unit will be responsible for evaluating patients for clinical fit and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening process, followed by a managerial interview for final decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an intensive care unit setting.
• Manage and monitor various invasive procedures and medications.
• Assist with chest tube insertion/removal and BiPAP/CPAP management.
• Administer emergency medications and blood products as needed.
• Care for ventilated patients and manage central line care.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
• Implement isolation precautions and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
• Care for COVID patients as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS; TNCC preferred.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Ability to float to all ICU floors when necessary.
