Job Description

This position functions within the Outpatient Department, assisting patients and medical staff within an ambulatory care setting. The RN is responsible for the overall operation of the clinic, maintaining skill sets, competencies, and certifications, and participating in educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services, ensuring excellent quality of care and compliance with standards.
• Lead and direct clinic staff for efficient operation, including front desk and patient care.
• Maintain medication inventory and perform quality control checks.
• Document all care and services professionally and in a timely manner.
• Oversee the opening and closing of the clinic.
• Assist providers and other staff as needed to ensure efficient patient care.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to support patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred; 6 months of addiction services experience preferred.
